We hope you won’t experience any difficulties whilst you are living in one of our properties, but if you do, firstly you need to know if your landlord or we, as the agent are handling any maintenance issues. Even if we collect your rent, we may not have authority to deal with issues.
For all managed properties this team will be the main point of contact for the tenants, we operate the 24 hour helpline, conduct rent reviews, liaise over any necessary maintenance and repairs and the rental payments/statements. We conduct all of the inventories and property inspections, plus arranging check ins and outs where required and allocation/return of deposits.
It will have been made clear on all the initial paperwork we provided and the appropriate contact numbers given as to who to contact, so please check these first. If it is us, as your managing agent please ring 01432 266 007 in the first instance or email firstname.lastname@example.org with REPORT A MAINTENANCE ISSUE in the subject title, detailing the problem, when it started, what actions if any you have taken and how urgent you feel it is, plus any access arrangements. We will then contact you, our landlord and any suitable contractor.
We do have an emergency number for out of hours (07772 025 916) but this is purely for emergencies only such as water coming through the ceiling or boiler breakdown in freezing conditions. Any other issues we will aim to send a contractor out as soon as we can over the next few working days.
