18 Jul Kids of Knighton Art Competition
Are you looking for something to entertain your children this summer? Look no further!
We are excited to announce an Art Competition for children aged 2-12 who attend schools and nurseries in the Knighton area. Encourage your children to draw, colour, or paint a portrait of a house, for the chance for their artwork to be displayed in our Knigton Office windows throughout August and be part of the Knighton Show & Carnival!
Age Categories:
- 2-4 years
- 5-8 years
- 9-12 years
There will be one winner in each category, and each winner will receive a prize! Even better, the competition is free to enter—no purchase necessary.
Competition Dates:
- Opens: 18th July 2024 at 5pm GBT
- Closes: 12th August 2024 at 5 pm GBT
Entries will be judged, and winners will be announced at the end of August 2024.
How to Enter:
- Create: Design a piece of artwork on A4 or A3 paper using pencil, ink, or paint. The brief is to create a portrait of a house of your choice. You can take inspiration from houses listed for sale on our website: Cobb Amos Estate Agents | Property For Sale.
- Label: Write the first name ONLY and age of the entrant on the front side of the artwork.
- Submit by Email (Parent/Legal Guardian only):
- Email a copy of the artwork and a signed consent form to: knighton@cobbamos.com
- Use the subject line: Art Competition Submission
- Submit in Person (Parent/Legal Guardian only):
- Bring the artwork and signed consent form to our Knighton Office (21 Broad St, Knighton LD7 1BL) and hand them to a team member.
Important Notes:
- All entries must be submitted by a Parent/Legal Guardian. Entries without a signed consent form will not be counted and will be discarded.
- All artwork will be disposed of after the competition display ends, so make sure to keep a copy before submitting it.
